The Women’s Campaign School at Yale University will hold a one-day program on how to develop a political strategy and communicate with voters, Saturday, Dec. 6, 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Yale Law School, 127 Wall St..

Ron Faucheux, editor and publisher of Campaigns & Elections Magazine, will lead the morning sessions on campaign strategy. In addition to his political journal, he edits and publishes Campaign Insider, a weekly newsletter about the business of politics. He is on the faculty of George Washington University Graduate School of Political Management. He is also an attorney and has served as a member of the Louisiana House of Representatives.

Cathy Allen, owner of the political consulting firm, Campaign Connection, will lead the afternoon sessions on creating and projecting a campaign message. A successful trainer of over 90 elected women, she has taught at the Women’s Campaign School at Yale and trained candidates for the National Women’s Political Caucus. Ms. Allen has written several books, including “Taking Back Politics: An Insider’s Guide to Winning.”

The annual week-long course teaching prospective candidates and campaign managers the nuts-and-bolts of how to run a campaign for elected office is scheduled for June 17-21, 1998.
