As part of its mission to give back to the community, the Science Park Outreach Committee hosted a holiday show, complete with a magician and a visit from Santa, at The Wexler Grant Community School. There were also age-appropriate gifts and hats and gloves for all students. In addition, toiletries and gifts for homeless families whose children attend Wexler Grant were delivered to the school before the holidays. The Science Park committee has also reached out to other non-profit groups in the area, including New Haven Cares/ Hungry and Homeless (thermal socks, hats, gloves and $5 vouchers for 300 people); New Haven Reads (eight Notebooks [Windows 8] as well as office supplies and books); and Ronald McDonald House (new toys and books).
