Global Health Leadership names photo contest winners

Yale Global Health Leadership Institute announced the three winners of the first annual photo contest open to Yale students.

Yale Global Health Leadership Institute announced the three winners of the first annual photo contest open to Yale students. To be eligible, the original photos had to “capture the essence or an aspect of global health.”

First Place Winner Yale School of Public Health student Lexy Adams’s photo of a “tippy-tap” being used in Deschappelles, Haiti.

Second Place WinnerDamian Weikum, School of Public Health, captures an attempt to carry a water jug in traditional rural fashion in Bombay, India.

Third Place Winner Undergraduate Adam Beckman photographed children after a festival about hand washing and the importance of maintaining clean streets in Manglaralto, Ecuador.
