Yale College senior and three recent grads awarded Gates Cambridge Scholarships

Selen Uman ’15, Matthew Johnson ’14, Jeania Ree Moore ’12, and Dylan Morris ’11 are among 94 students from around the globe who have recently been awarded scholarships to begin graduate study at the University of Cambridge this autumn.



The postgraduate scholarship program was established through a $210 million donation to Cambridge from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation in 2001. The program is unique in its emphasis on social leadership as well as outstanding academic ability.
