Members of the Yale community will engage with partners from across the region, the U.S., and the world during Climate Week NYC, an international summit held annually in New York City to drive climate action.
During the week (Sept. 20 to 27), Yale scholars, students, and thought leaders will participate in a range of events and activities across the city, including a two-day summit at the Yale Club of New York City (Sept. 21–22) hosted by Yale Planetary Solutions, the university’s campuswide initiative uniting leaders and innovators across disciplines to catalyze solutions to the greatest threats facing people and planet.
The third annual Yale @ Climate Week NYC event will include a session — organized in collaboration with Cornell University’s Atkinson Center for Sustainability, Harvard’s Salata Institute, and the United Nations’ University’s Centre for Policy Research — that will focus on expanding collaboration with the United Nations and opportunities to close the gap between knowledge and action in the climate fight.
And in a series of sessions, Yale faculty, staff, and alumni will explore potential solutions to the environmental threats facing the planet and humankind.
