Planetary Solutions

Yale @ Climate Week NYC 2025

In September, hundreds of members of the Yale community convened in New York for Climate Week NYC — including for a two-day program at the Yale Club of New York City — underscoring the many ways the university is advancing solutions to climate change, biodiversity loss, and other planetary challenges.

Scholars, students, and thought leaders from across the Yale community engaged with partners from the region, the nation, and the world during Climate Week NYC in September, the largest annual climate event of its kind.

During the week (Sept. 21 to 28), members of the Yale community participated in a range of events, including a two-day summit at the Yale Club of New York City (Sept. 24–25) hosted by Yale Planetary Solutions, the university’s campuswide initiative uniting leaders and innovators across disciplines to catalyze solutions to the greatest threats facing people and planet.

The Yale Club program (Yale @ Climate Week NYC) featured more than 20 sessions convening members of the Yale community and a host of partners focused on bringing solutions to scale for positive impact.
