Golf tournament will honor the memory of Howard Parish
The Department of Human Resources and Administration is sponsoring the 28th annual Howard Parish Memorial Golf Tournament.
The event is scheduled for Monday, June 5, beginning with a sign-in at noon. Teams, each consisting of four players, will commence play at 1 p.m. A reception and awards ceremony will take place 5:30-7 p.m.
The tournament is named in honor of Howard Parish, who died of cancer in 1993 after more than 30 years of service to the Yale community in the dining halls and auxiliary services. Throughout his career, Parish earned the highest respect of management, co-workers, and students.
All university employees are eligible to participate. The fee is $40 (with cart) or $20 (walking) for members of the Yale Golf Course; $95 (with cart) or $75 (walking) for non-members. Payment, preferably by payroll deduction, is required by May 30. No cash will be accepted.
Reservations may be made by sending e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org; faxing a sign-up form to 203-432-5153; or by calling Marilyn Butanowicz at 203-436-4245. For more information or to download the sign-up form, visit the tournament website.
