Dr. Roy Herbst elected to the Association of American Physicians

Dr. Roy Herbst was elected to the Association of American Physicians (AAP), one of North America’s oldest medical honor societies. The AAP was founded in 1885 by Dr. William Osler and seven other physicians for “the advancement of scientific and practical medicine.”

The AAP was founded in 1885 by Dr. William Osler and seven other physicians for “the advancement of scientific and practical medicine.” Today, the AAP is composed of more than 1,300 active members and about 600 emeritus and honorary members from around the world. Its ranks have included Nobel laureates, and members of the National Academy of Science and the Institute of Medicine.
