New Yale faculty members, in their own words

Each year, dozens of new faculty members join the Yale community. In this video, eight scholars who recently arrived on campus discuss their scholarship, their passion for teaching, and the reasons they decided to come to Yale.

Filmed in their classrooms and labs during the Fall 2022 semester, and representing a wide breadth of fields across Yale's Faculty of Arts and Sciences and the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, these individuals offer a powerful reminder that Yale’s greatest resource is its faculty.
