Yale Rep offers discount packages for new season to university affiliates
The Yale Repertory Theatre is offering special discounts for its 2019-20 season to university faculty and staff.
Two flexible ticket options are available:
5-Play Subscriptions allow theatergoers to experience the entire season in the best seats, at the best prices, on the dates of their choice; and
3-Play Subscriptions allow individuals to curate their own journey through the season.
Individual tickets for a single production are also available at discounted rates for faculty and staff.
The new season will begin on Thursday, Oct. 4, and will feature “Girls,” a spin on “The Bacchae” with a DJ, dance music, and live-streaming video; “The Plot,” a “mysterious, at times hilarious story of a tiny plot of land”; “Manahatta,” a tale about the attempted eradication of Native culture; “A Raisin in the Sun,” Lorraine Hansberry’s story of a black family’s experiences in Chicago; and “Testmatch,” a tale of sport, gender politics, and colonialism.
