Art meets science at Yale Quantum Institute
In addition to its ongoing research in quantum computing, the Yale Quantum Institute (YQI) is committed to exploring the intricate connections between science and art.
This is exemplified by YQI’s thriving artist-in-residence program. Earlier this year Martha Lewis, the first artist in residence at YQI, created an interactive art installation — “I’ll be your qubit,” that allowed visitors to become human manifestations of qubits, the bits of quantum data at the heart of quantum computing research.
