Meet Yale’s newest World Fellows on Sept. 13
Members of the Yale community and beyond are invited to meet this year’s class of Maurice R. Greenberg World Fellows during World Fellows Night 5:30-7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 13 in Horchow Hall, 55 Hillhouse Ave.
The annual event offers an opportunity to talk one-on-one with the fellows and learn more about their backgrounds and interests. Admission is free, but those planning to attend are asked to register in advance.
The Maurice R. Greenberg World Fellows Program is Yale University’s flagship leadership development program. Each year, 16 accomplished, mid-career, global leaders come to campus for four months of academic enrichment and leadership training. The 2018 class includes A South Korean army major, a Russian opposition party politician, and an Iraqi historian who bore witness to ISIS atrocities in Mosul. The program, which is part of Yale’s Jackson Institute for Global Affairs, provides the opportunity for World Fellows to contribute to Yale’s intellectual life, participate in events, collaborate with peers, audit classes, mentor students, and lead round-table discussions.
