Hip hop forestry: Thomas Rashad Easley of F&ES

Thomas Rashad Easley, assistant dean of community and inclusion at the Yale School of Forestry & Environmental Studies, describes how he learned to love people and share his truth from hip hop and how to respect the earth through forestry. Bringing them together, he says, has allowed him to connect people who have been unnaturally kept apart to create a better world.

The video is the first in the series “Stories Happen in Forests,” created by the Dogwood Alliance.
