Medical faculty elected to the American Society for Clinical Investigation

Drs. Daniel Greif, Cary Gross, Chirag Parikh, and Joseph Ross of Yale School of Medicine have been elected to the American Society for Clinical Investigation (ASCI). One of the nation’s oldest and most prestigious medical honor societies, ASCI supports the work of top physician-scientists whose research improves human health.
The four new members were selected among hundreds of physician-scientists nominated by their peers for outstanding achievement in biomedical research. They join more than 3,000 members who are recognized for translating laboratory research to advance clinical practice. Their election signifies early-career accomplishment, as new members must be 50 years of age or younger.
Current ASCI members represent a wide range of specialties and include among them celebrated leaders in academic medicine.
Greif, Gross, Parikh, and Ross will be officially recognized, along with the other 78 new inductees for 2018, during the AAP/ASCI/APSA Joint Meeting, which takes place in Chicago in April.
