While the Blue and the Crimson clash in numerous sports throughout the year and with various outcomes, there is one arena in which the Bulldogs consistently win, with the help of the campus community: the annual Harvard-Yale blood drive.

This year’s blood drive runs Jan. 22-26 from 9 a.m. to 6  p.m. each day at the Joseph Slifka Center for Jewish Life, 80 Wall St.

Donations are needed this year not just for Bulldog pride, but also because the Connecticut blood supply is critically low after the harsh weather earlier this month.

Anyone is welcome to sign up for an appointment to donate by going to redcrossblood.org and entering the sponsor code 4437. More information and discussion is also available at the event’s Facebook page.
