Come to the cabaret and see Antony + Cleopatra. This production, which runs June 2-11, features an all-male cast and, according to the producers, is “a reimagining of Shakespeare’s love story as a drag extravaganza in an immersive nightclub experience.” Yale Summer Cabaret, 217 Park St. Friday, 8 p.m.; Saturday, 7 p.m. and 10 p.m.

Discover all that the Hill neighborhood has to offer, from parks and schools to health centers and art museums. The Hill Pop-Up Festival, helping to kick-off the International Festival of Arts & Ideas, will include live music, crafts projects, local vendors and artists, a climbing wall, and free hamburgers & hot dogs for kids. Free. Trowbridge Square Park, 164 Cedar St. 1-5 p.m.

Enjoy the rich multicultural cuisine, music, dance, and activities at the Fair Haven Pop-Up Festival. Part of the International Festival of Arts & Ideas, this event will highlight the diverse local talent that makes the Fair Haven neighborhood great. Free. Christopher Columbus Family Academy, 255 Blatchley Ave. 2-6:30 p.m.

Celebrate at the annual Dixwell Pop-Up Festival with an old-school block party. Enjoy an open-air market, free hamburgers & hot dogs for the children, and music and activities showcasing the neighborhood’s African American culture. Free. Scantlebury Park, 139 Ashmun St. 2-6 p.m.

Join Ideas on Foot: Dixwell’s Roots to explore the Dixwell neighborhood of today and recall the importance of its historical African American sites: an 1854 school built for African American children before the New Haven schools were integrated in 1859; churches that were part of the Underground Railroad; and community institutions such as the Dixwell Community House. This event is part of the International Festival of Arts & Ideas. Free, but register in advance. Goffe Street Special School/Prince Hall Masonic Temple, 106 Goffe St. 5:30-7 p.m.
