Rebecca Brudner
Fiercely intelligent, ferociously talented, and hungry for artistic challenges, Rebecca Brudner is a star. A classically trained vocalist and skilled dancer, her breadth of talent is fortified by her abiding commitment to craft and technique. With the ability to move seamlessly across genres and styles, Rebecca’s voice is by turns warm and sumptuous, brassy and beautiful. She can belt out a Broadway song or capture the nuances of a Baroque aria. As a dancer she is equally versatile, and most recently, she has begun to create work in the genre known as “devised theater.” A Theater Studies major, Rebecca has the confidence, training, and sheer capacity for continuous development that separates those who perform well from those who will most certainly have active careers in the arts.
For her dazzling accomplishments and her brilliant promise, Yale College is proud to award the Louis Sudler Prize for excellence in the performing arts to Rebecca Brudner.
