Hockey

Cheer on the members of Yale men’s ice hockey team as they take on St. Lawrence at home. Ingalls Rink, 73 Sachem St. 7 p.m.

Yale Concert Band

Enjoy an evening listening to the Yale Concert Band. Thomas C. Duffy, music director, will lead the band in featured selection,  including “Church Windows” (Respighi), “Symphony No. 2” (Ticheli), “Hymn for Emanuel” [in memoriam Charleston, S.C.], “Ave Maria” (Biebl), and more. Yale University Art Gallery

Join the Angles on Art Tour: Cultural Conversations, led by undergraduate Olivia Armandroff, who will focus on cross-cultural dialogues, emphasizing the appropriation of foreign artistic practices in colonial Europe, Northern Qi Dynasty China, Sierra Leone, and 19th-century America. Run Lola Run

Watch one of the Treasures from the Yale Film Archive — Run Lola Run. Directed by Tom Tykwer, film was described by the New York as “…a furiously kinetic display of pyrotechnics” that “fuses lightning-fast visual tricks, tirelessly shifting styles, and the arbitrary possibilities of interactive storytelling into the best-case scenario for a cinematic video game.” Free. Whitney Humanities Center, Auditorium, 53 Wall St. 2 p.m.

Midsummer Night's Dream

Enjoy a new production of Benjamin Britten’s opera A Midsummer Night’s Dream performed by Yale Opera. Magic, mischief, and melodies intertwine in this setting of Shakespeare’s comedy directed by Claudia Solti. Conductor Rune Bergmann leads the Yale Philharmonia. Shubert Theater, 247 College St. Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m.; Sunday at 2 p.m.
