International Festival of Arts & Ideas: Wednesday, June 24

Highlights of the festival today include a concert by the Mary McBride Band, offering a blend of country, gospel, blues, and old school rock and roll.

As part of its Home Tour, the band has partnered with the Connecticut Department of Mental Health Services to bring live concerts and music workshops to mental health facilities throughout the state. At this concerts, McBride will invite recent workshop participants to perform with her band.

The concert will take place at 7 p.m. on the First Niagara Stage on the New Haven Green. Admission is free. Click here for more information.
