Holiday savings for Yale community members (and beyond)

Three Yale museum stores are offering 10% discounts to holiday shoppers, while the Yale Bookstore and Campus Customs are offering savings especially for Yale community members.

Yale Peabody Museum

The Yale Peabody Museum Store is holding its annual Holiday Shopping Event 10 a.m.–4 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 5. Everything in the store is 10% off for that day. Shoppers who download and bring the shop’s 10%-off holiday coupon on Dec. 5 can double their savings. The event will also include raffle prizes and free gift-wrapping 11 a.m.–3 p.m. The holiday coupon is good through Tuesday, Dec. 23. Located at 170 Whitney Ave., the store is open 10 a.m.–4:45 p.m. Monday-Saturday, and noon–4:45 p.m. Sunday.

Yale Center for British Art

The Yale Center for British Art Museum Shop is offering a store-wide 10% discount to shoppers through Sunday, Dec. 23. (See its 25 under $25 gift guide.) Visitors can enter the shop through the museum at 1080 Chapel St. or via its High Street entrance. It is open 10 a.m.–5 p.m. Tuesday-Saturday, noon–5 p.m. Sunday (closed Mondays). On Thursday, Dec. 4, the shop will remain open until 8 p.m.

Yale University Art Gallery

The Yale University Art Gallery Bookstore is offering discounts both at the store, located in the museum lobby, and online through Jan. 2, 2015. There is a 10% discount on publications, t-shirts, magnets, and more. For Yale students, faculty, and staff with an I.D., the discount is 20%, and for gallery members, the discount is 30%. The bookstore, at 1111 Chapel St., is open during museum hours: Tuesday–Friday 10 a.m.–5 p.m.; Thursdays until 8 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday 11 a.m.–5 p.m. (closed Mondays)

Yale Bookstore

The Yale Bookstore, 77 Broadway, is offering a 20% discount off all purchases and 25% off the entire collection of Champion sweatshirts, sweatpants, and tees to shoppers with a Yale I.D. Dec. 5–14 (normal exclusions apply).

Campus Customs

Campus Customs, 57 Broadway, will take 40% off purchases of Yale memorabilia to shoppers with a Yale I.D. 7 a.m.–9 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 5. After 9 a.m. that day, the store will offer a 20% discount to all Yale employees through Dec. 14.
