New Haven Restaurant Week returns April 6–11

With the return of spring comes the return of New Haven Restaurant Week, the bi-annual celebration offering diners an opportunity to enjoy the culinary creations of some of the city’s most sought-after eateries at a special price.

There are 29 restaurants participating in the program, which will take place April 6–11. These restaurants will offer three-course prix fixe menus for both lunch and dinner, which include an appetizer, entrée and dessert. Lunch will cost $18, while the dinner menu will cost $32. Prices do not include beverage, tax or gratuity (some restrictions apply). As in previous years, all the special prix fixe menus will be offered in addition to each restaurant’s regular menu. Due to the program’s, it is strongly recommended that patrons make reservations in advance.

“We are very excited to host this spring’s restaurant week, allowing diners to save on New Haven’s award-winning dining scene,” says Mayor Toni Harp.

During New Haven Restaurant Week, visitors to downtown can also enjoy $5 parking from 4 p.m. to midnight throughout the week at both the Crown Street and Temple Street garages. In addition, Park New Haven will be continuing to offer free validated parking at select participating restaurants.

Restaurants participating in April’s celebration include: 116 Crown (bar, kitchen & cellar), Adriana’s Restaurant & Wine Bar (northern Italian), Barcelona Restaurant & Wine Bar (Spanish wine bar), Basta Trattoria (southern Italian), Bentara (spicy Malaysian), Briq (table-style dining), Carmen Anthony Steakhouse (American steakhouse), Caseus (fromagerie & bistro), Cask Republic (modern American), Christopher Martins Restaurant (modern American & Italian), Geronimo (Southwestern), Goodfellas Restaurant (Italian cuisine), Heirloom (coastal farm), Istanbul Café (authentic Turkish cuisine), John Davenport’s (contemporary American), L’Orcio (contemporary Italian), Mambo Cocina Latina (South American and Caribbean), Miya’s Sushi (creative sushi), Oaxaca Kitchen (contemporary Mexican), Pacifico (nuevo Latino), ROIA (French and Italian), Soul de Cuba Café (Cuban), Temple Grill (American), Thali (regional Indian), Tre Scalini Ristorante (regional Italian), Union League Café (Parisian-style brasserie), Zafra Cuban Restaurant & Rum Bar (creative Cuban), Zaroka Bar & Restaurant (traditional Indian), and Zinc (modern American).
