Family program

Enjoy folktales, myths, and exciting stories from around the world during the Family Program of Stories and Art, highlighting unique objects in the collection. The program is for children of all ages. Free. Yale University Art Gallery, 1111 Chapel St. 1 p.m.

YCBA concert

Hear a concert by baroque harp virtuoso Andrew Lawrence-King featuring early Welsh folk music traditions. The performance, taking place in the center’s library court, features music complementing the center’s two exhibitions related to Wales. Free. Yale Center for British Art, 1080 Chapel St. 2 p.m.

All Weekend

Richard Wilson

Be one of the first to see the new exhibit Richard Wilson and the Transformation of European Landscape Painting. The exhibition explores how the “father of British landscape painting” influenced a generation of artists. Free. Yale Center for British Art, 1080 Chapel St. Friday and Saturday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m., and Sunday, noon-5 p.m.

 1970s Photorealism

Catch the exhibit Still Life: 1970s Photorealism before it ends on March 9. Works from the gallery showcase a movement that “captured life in the 1970s with a more gritty and melancholy character.” Free.
