U.S. Associate Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor ’79 J.D. will visit Yale University on Monday Feb. 3 to give a talk in Woolsey Hall from 1:45 to 2:35 p.m., and to deliver the James A. Thomas Lecture at Yale Law School at 4:30 p.m.

Justice Sotomayor’s talk at Woolsey Hall (1:45 p.m.) will be moderated by Judith Resnik, the Arthur Liman Professor of Law at Yale Law School. Woolsey Hall is at the corner of Grove and College Streets in New Haven.
The Thomas Lecture in Levinson Auditorium in the Law School (4:30 p.m.) will take the form of a conversation between Sotomayor and Linda Greenhouse, the Knight Distinguished Journalist-in Residence and Joseph Goldstein Lecturer in Law at the Law School. Media should enter the Law School at the main entrance at 127 Wall St.
Sotomayor returns to campus after being awarded an Honorary Doctor of Laws at the Yale University Commencement in 2013, at which the citation characterized her many contributions to our nation:
