Citation for Stacey S. Chen — the Arthur Twining Hadley Prize
Stacey Shuang Chen graduates summa cum laude with a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in political science and Distinction in that major. She was awarded the Frank Miner Patterson Prize for the best senior essay on the American Political System. Elected to Phi Beta Kappa after six terms of enrollment, she has completed 34 of her course credits with grades of straight A.
Ms. Chen has served as an executive board member of the Yale Debate Association, a research assistant at the Yale Institution for Social and Policy Studies, and an intern at the U.S. Department of State. In the summer of 2010, she received a Richard U. Light Fellowship for Chinese language study in Beijing.
In recognition of her exceptional record and promise of future success, Yale College proudly confers the Arthur Twining Hadley Scholarship Prize this year upon Stacey Shuang Chen.
