British pop band to perform at Yale Peabody Museum

British pop band Stornoway will return to the United States to promote their new album “Tales from Terra Firma” — described by the group as “the sound of one long song of life unfurling.”

The concert will take place 12:30-1:30 p.m. on Sunday, May 5 in the Great Hall of the Yale Peabody Museum of Natural History, 170 Whitney Ave. Museum admission of $5-$9 or a Yale ID is required.

Lead singer and guitarist Brian Briggs is the son of Derek Briggs, director of the Yale Peabody Museum. For more information, visit the band’s website.
