Hear a performance by the Yale Jazz Ensemble and the Reunion Jazz Ensemble in the Stan Wheeler Memorial Jazz Concert — held in memory of late Yale Law professor Stanton Wheeler, a former member of the Jazz Ensemble. Free. Levinson Auditorium, Sterling Law Buildings, 127 Wall St. 2 p.m.

All Weekend

Enjoy a performance by the Yale Belly Dance Society in the Hips Against Hunger Belly Dance Show — the sixth annual benefit show for the Downtown Evening Soup Kitchen. Mary S. Harkness Auditorium, Sterling Hall of Medicine, 333 Cedar St. Friday, 9 p.m. and Saturday, 8 p.m.

This is the last weekend to visit Once Removed: Sculpture’s Changing Frame of Reference, and see artworks from the 1970s by contemporary artists Carol Bove, Ree Morton, and Allen Ruppersberg, who have taken divergent approaches to creating traditional sculpture. Free. Yale University Art Gallery, 1111 Chapel St. Friday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday, 11 a.m.-5 p.m.
