Celebrating 20 years of service to the New Haven community, the Yale University Community Health Care Van will be returning to the New Haven Green on Sunday, April 7, during the AIDS Walk New Haven.

Between 1 and 4 p.m., for the duration of the AIDS Walk, the Yale Community Health Care Van will offer free adult health screenings, including blood pressure checks, hepatitis screening, HIV screening, STD testing, tuberculosis testing, and health education and referrals. In addition, some vaccinations will be offered.

The health services are free of charge, but if community members would like to participate in the AIDS walk, there is a $12 fee for adults and a $6 fee for children. There will also be live music and guest speakers.

The fees will benefit the New Haven Mayor’s Task Force on AIDS. For more information, visit the website.
