Explore the architecture of the Yale Center for British Art — designed by internationally acclaimed architect Louis I. Kahn. Free. Yale Center for British Art, 1080 Chapel St. 10 a.m.-noon.

Take an interactive Highlights Tour of the Yale University Art Gallery, and examine a range of objects and themes. Free. 1111 Chapel St. 1:30 p.m.

Bring the family to A Night at the Peabody Museum and see the museum come alive after hours with games, crafts, scavenger hunts, and live animals. (Tickets must be purchased in advance.) Yale Peabody Museum of Natural History, 170 Whitney Ave. 6-9 p.m.

All Weekend

Experience a performance of Shakespeare’s tragedy Hamlet — starring award-winning actor Paul Giamatti. University Theatre, 222 York St. Friday and Saturday, 8 p.m.

See the Gutenberg Bible and Audubon’s “Birds of America” at the Beinecke Rare Book and Manuscript Library, 121 Wall St. Free. Friday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.; 
Saturday, noon-5 p.m.

Discover Yale’s historic and architecturally distinct campus on a guided tour. Free. Yale Visitor Center, 149 Elm St. Saturday and Sunday, 1:30 p.m.
