Science writer and blogger Carl Zimmer ’87 will be interviewed at Yale for a YouTube video, and Yale Tumblr is inviting members of the public to submit questions about the scientific issues they’d most like to hear him discuss.

The video with Zimmer, a lecturer in Yale’s Environmental Studies Program, is part of the “Ask X” series. The video will be taped on Thursday, March 7, the same day that he will be speaking at the Yale Peabody Museum. Click here for details.

Zimmer, who writes primarily about breakthroughs in biology, is the author of over a dozen books. His blog, “The Loom,” appears in National Geographic. The New York Times Book Review has called him “as fine a science essayist as we have.”

Those interested can submit their questions via Yale Tumblr through March 7.
