Pearl Harbor to be remembered at Yale ceremony

National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day will be observed on Friday, Dec. 7 with a ceremony at Beinecke Plaza. Yale Veterans Association and Yale ROTC will be present to honor the service and sacrifice of the men and women who lost their lives in the attack on Pearl Harbor 71 years ago.

A trumpeter will play as Air Force Cadets and Navy Midshipmen from Yale’s ROTC programs raise the American flag at 8 a.m. and then stand in silent vigil at the memorial cenotaph until 10 a.m.
