Five students will help improve health care abroad as GHLI fellows

Five students have been selected as this year’s Global Health Leadership Institute (GHLI) Fellows.

The students will be assigned to country delegations returning for the 2012 GHLI Conference: Ethiopia, Ghana, Liberia and South Africa. After the GHLI Conference, which will be held June 4-8 at Yale’s Greenberg Center, they will travel to their assigned country and assist with implementing work plans developed at the conference. All fellows will be assigned a delegate advisor who will provide mentoring and supervision.

This year’s GHLI Fellows and they countries in which they will work are Micah Johnson, Ghana; Alexandra Adams and Sudhakar Nuti, Ethiopia; Heather Fosburgh, South Africa; and Janeen Drakes, Liberia.

GHLI develops global health leadership educational and research programs that strengthen health systems and ensure health equity and quality of care for all.
