Watson’s and Crick’s discovery revolutionized the study of biology. In recent years, Watson has turned his attention to the study of cancer, and the genetic changes that instigate it.

He spoke at Yale on March 19 on the topic “Curing ‘Incurable’ Cancer.” Yale professor of biophysics and biochemistry Joan Steitz, a former student of Watson, introduced him.
