Donoghue wins international botany prize

Michael J. Donoghue, Sterling Professor of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology travelled to Sweden earlier this month to receive the Rolf Dahlgren Prize in Botany, awarded by the society every three years to scientists who make major contributions to understanding plants and their evolution.

Michael J. Donoghue, Sterling Professor of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology travelled to Sweden earlier this month to receive the Rolf Dahlgren Prize in Botany, awarded by the society every three years to scientists who make major contributions to understanding plants and their evolution.

The Society is one of the oldest in Sweden, having been founded in 1772; it also awards two prizes in mathematics, as well as a prize in medicine and chemistry.
