Enjoy fine dining at a savings during New Haven Restaurant Week Nov. 6-11
Area diners will have the opportunity to sample a new culinary site — or return to an old favorite — during New Haven Restaurant Week, being held Sunday-Friday, Nov. 6-11.
Thirty-six restaurants in the city will offer a three-course, prix fixe menu consisting of an appetizer, entrée and dessert. Lunches will be $16.38 for lunch (a figure that reflects the year New Haven was founded) and $29 for dinner.
For the first time, New Haven Restaurant Week will partner with Citizens Bank to raise money for the Connecticut Food Bank. At each participating restaurant, diners will have an opportunity to donate $1 to the Connecticut Food Bank. “Just $1 feeds one person for an entire day,” write the event organizers, “and what tastes better than that?”
