Yale Employee Day at the Yale Bowl
Go blue! Go green! Those will be the rallying cries during Yale’s 15th annual Employee Day on Saturday, Sept. 24, at the Yale Bowl on Derby Avenue.
The true-blue Bulldogs will take on the Cornell University Big Red in Yale’s first Ivy League football game of the year. Kick-off is at noon.
Staff, faculty and retirees attending the game are invited to stop in the employee food tent between 10:30 a.m. and noon to enjoy complimentary hot dogs, beverages and cookies. The tent is located in the Yale Hospitality Village (near Gate E).
Boola the Yale mascot, will be on hand for photo ops from 11 a.m. to noon, so those attending are urged to bring a camera.
With a valid Yale ID, employees, one guest and all children 12 and under will receive the following for free:
- General admission seating
- Parking in Lot D (Central Avenue)
- Hot dogs, soda and cookies under the employee foodtent
Note: All home games are free to Yale employees with a valid Yale ID. All other guests attending with a Yale employee must pay the regular admission price to see the game. For the complete football season schedule, visit www.yalebulldogs.com.
To help make this the greenest Employee Day to date, those planning to attend are urged to walk, bike, ride the Yale shuttle, carpool or take public transit to the Yale Bowl.
