
Three noted Yale researchers — including the dean of the Yale School of Engineering and Applied Science (YEAS) — will discuss issues facing women in science at a panel on Tuesday, Sept. 20, at 6:30 p.m. in Sheffield-Sterling-Strathcona Hall, corner of Grove and Prospect streets.
The panel, which is sponsored by the graduate student group Women in Science at Yale, is open to the public free of charge.
The panelists will be:
Paula Kavathas, vice chair of laboratory medicine, professor of immunology and genetics;
Priyamvada Natarajan, professor of astronomy and physics and chair of the Yale Women’s Faculty Forum; and
T. Kyle Vanderlick, dean of YEAS and the Thomas E. Golden Jr. Professor of Engineering.
