The 16th annual International Festival of Arts & Ideas continues through Saturday, June 25. The theme of this year’s celebration is “Across Borders, Beyond Time.”

Thursday, June 23

Concert on the Green: Los Sugar Kings
Noon. Elm Street Stage, New Haven Green. Cuban, Ethiopian and American music will be performed

Walking Tour: Grove Street Cemetery
1:30 p.m. Egyptian Revival Gate, Grove Street Cemetery, 227 Grove St.

Concert on the Green: “Around the World in Song with Guy Mendilow”
3 p.m. & 6 p.m. Elm Street Stage, New Haven Green. Concert will feature music performed on the berimbau, munnharpa and Peruvian cajon.

Talk: “Freedom’s Journey: Poetic Reflections on African-American Legacies”
5:30 p.m. Yale University Art Gallery, 1111 Chapel St. Robert Stanton, deputy assistant secretary of the Interior; Kate Rushin, Bessy Reyna and Jarita Davis, among others.

Theater: “Making Up the Truth”
8 p.m. Stage II, Long Wharf Theatre, 222 Sargent Dr. Written and performed by Jack Hitt; directed by Jessica Bauman. Tickets: $30. (Also being presented-Friday, June 24, 8 p.m.)

Dance: “Body Against Body”
8 p.m. University Theater, 222 York St. Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Dance Company. Tickets: $40.
