Public Advocate of Secularism to Speak at Yale
Sean Faircloth, Executive Director of the Secular Coalition for America, will deliver a public address on American humanism at Yale on Sunday, April 3.
Titled, “One Nation Under the Constitution: A Vision of a Secular America,” the free talk takes place at 2 p.m. in Linsly-Chittenden Hall, 63 High Street, Room 102.
The Coalition headed by Faircloth is a not-for-profit advocacy organization for the nontheistic community of the United States. It is the first organization representing secular Americans to engage in a formal briefing with White House officials.
This event is hosted by the Yale Secular Student Alliance and the Connecticut Humanists.
The Secular Student Alliance at Yale, formerly the Humanist Society, is an undergraduate organization devoted to public service and to promoting free expression and inter-faith dialogue at Yale and beyond.
