Smilow Cancer Hospital launches "Closer to Free" campaign
Smilow Cancer Hospital at Yale-New Haven and the physicians of Yale Cancer Center have launched a new ad campaign designed to raise awareness of Smilow, which unites all cancer services under one roof, and of the exciting work taking place at Yale.
The three-month media campaign is called “Closer to Free,” and will reach across all media: TV, radio, online and newspapers.

The television commercials — 60-seconds and 30-seconds in length — will be airing on all of the major TV stations as well as key cable network channels across the state of Connecticut and into Westchester County, New York. In addition, 30-second radio commercials will run on major Connecticut radio stations that primarily reach the New Haven, Bridgeport and New London markets, as well as the secondary markets of Hartford and Stamford.
The “Closer to Free” online campaign will be featured on health, news and media websites targeted to Connecticut and Westchester County. Websites will include comcast.net, news12.com, optimum.net, courant.com, wtnh.com, nhregister.com, everydayhealth.com, diagnosis.com, nbcconnecticut.com and more. Smilow will also be featured on Web MD in Connecticut.
Print advertisements will primarily appear in Connecticut newspapers, but may also appear in the New York City area.
