Come out to the Yale Bowl for Employee Day
There will be a special twist to this year’s Employee Day, hosted by the Yale Human Resources and Athletics departments: This year, Yale will be rooting for both blue and green.
During Employee Day, Yale will be participating the EPA’s “Game Day Challenge,” a competition between 41 universities nationwide to increase recycling and reduce game-day waste. To put Yale in a winning position, Yale is aiming host the most environmentally friendly Employee Day to date.
Now in its 14th year, Employee Day is open to all staff and faculty; it will be held Saturday, Oct. 30, during the Yale vs. Columbia game at the Yale Bowl on Derby Avenue. With a valid Yale ID, you, one guest and all children 12 and under will receive the following for free:
• General admission seating.
• Parking in Lot D (Central Avenue)
• Hot dogs, soda & cookies under the employee food tent in the Hospitality Village near Gate E, 10:30 a.m.-noon. (kick-off time). Quantities are limited, so first-come, first-served.
All home games are free to Yale employees with a valid Yale ID. All other guests attending with a Yale employee must pay the regular admission price to see the game. For the complete football season schedule, click here.
