Managing Editor at Bloomberg News Will Be the Guest at a Master’s Tea at Pierson College
Michael Waldholz, managing editor of global health, science and environment at Bloomberg News, will be the guest at a Pierson College master’s tea on Wednesday, Feb. 24. The talk, which is free and open to the public, will take place at 4 p.m. in the master’s house, 231 Park St.
Waldholz joined Bloomberg News in 2005 as senior editor and was named a managing editor the same year. He oversees a staff of over 40 reporters and editors in bureaus in the United States, Europe and Asia. Before that, Waldholz served as a medical and science reporter and news editor at the Wall Street Journal for over 25 years, covering the drug and biotech industries, as well as personal and public health issues.
He led a team of reporters that won the 1996 Pulitzer Prize for national reporting on the breakthrough AIDS medicines. He is the author of “Curing Cancer” and co-author of “Genome.”
