Yale Students Give Benefit Concert for Haiti Relief

Yale student musicians, including the incomparable Whiffenpoofs and Yale Gospel Choir, will put on a concert, “Help Can’t Wait Haiti,” to raise money for victims of the Haiti earthquake on Monday evening, Martin Luther King Day.

The benefit concert will take place at Woolsey Hall, College and Grove streets, 7:30 p.m. The suggested donation is $10 for students and $20 for adults.

Already confirmed to join the Whiffs and Gospel Choir are the a capella group Shades, the African dance troupe Konjo! and the steel-pan group Pan, Jam and Lime, with many other student performers expected to take part.
