Yale museum hosting New York talk on Horace Walpole

The Yale Center for British Art and the Royal Oak Foundation will present a lecture titled “A Little Gothic Castle: Horace Walpole and Strawberry Hill,” by Michael Snodin, senior research fellow at the Victoria and Albert Museum.

The lecture will take place on Thursday, Oct. 8, at 6 p.m. at the Union Club, 101 East 69th St., in New York. Tickets are $30 for members; $40 for non-members.

The Royal Oak Foundation engages Americans in the work of the National Trust of England, Wales and Northern Ireland, one of the world’s largest and most progressive conservation organizations
