Qide Han, M.D., president of Peking University Health Science Center, will present a lecture at Yale School of Medicine today at 4 p.m. in Room 110 of the Hope Building, 315 Cedar St.
China is undergoing dramatic economic growth, which has challenged its healthcare system. Han, who also is vice chair of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress of China, plays a critical role in the reform of the healthcare system. His lecture at Yale is entitled: “Healthcare System Reform in China.”
Han also is a well known pathophysiologist and pharmacologist whose research has focused on molecular pharmacology in the study of adrenoceptor subtypes.
