During a visit to Yale on September 21, NBA All-Star Dikembe Mutombo will be available for interviews throughout the day. He will meet faculty and students, tour medical facilities and deliver a keynote address at 4:30 p.m. at Battell Chapel, corner of College and Elm Streets.

The eight-time All-Star and four-time defensive player of the year contributed $10 million of his own money to construct a new 300-bed general hospital in the Congo, which will open in June 2006. The hospital project is the Congo’s first new medical facility in 40 years.

• Tour of Yale-New Haven Children’s Hospital, 1:30 to 2 p.m.
• Tour of Yale School of Medicine’s Anlyan Center for Education and Research, escorted by students from New Haven’s Hill Regional Career High School Anatomy Lab Program, 300 Cedar St. 2:15 to 3 p.m.
• Keynote Address, followed by panel discussion and Q &A, 4:30 to 6 p.m., Battell Chapel
