Yale University Properties is pleased to announce the grand opening of Elm City Fine Stationers and Gifts on Chapel Street.
Elm City Fine Stationers and Gifts occupies the lower level of the Atticus Building at 1020 Chapel Street, beneath Seychelles, Ragg’s and the White Space Gallery. With over 60 years of collective experience, owners Ellie Iannuzzi of TYCO Copy and Sal Esposito of Branford Book & Card and P.S. Fine Stationers offer New Haven a wide variety of quality paper goods and services, including personalized invitations and fine writing accessories.
Director of University Properties David I. Newton notes, “Yale is delighted to welcome Elm City Fine Stationers and Gifts to the fine group of retail merchants on Chapel Street. Local independent entrepreneurs are the hallmark of Yale’s community investment program, and this store will certainly add to the vibrancy and retail mix in this district.”
Located in the heart of the Chapel Street Retail District, Iannuzzi and Esposito look forward to providing the New Haven community with a new product mix. “In Downtown New Haven, we saw a need for a full-fledged stationery store that provides quality paper goods and services, including Crane’s Fine Papers and personalized invitations and stationery,” says Esposito. Iannuzzi adds, “Besides beautiful paper goods and invitations, we provide Kate Spade accessories, Mont Blanc pens and leather goods and an assortment of fine gift items and collectibles.”
Elm City Fine Stationers and Gifts’ official opening will take place at 3:30 p.m. on November 19 in front of the atrium at 1020 Chapel Street.
