Donna Diers, retired professor of the Yale School of Nursing (YSN), will discuss and read from her new book, “Speaking of Nursing: Narratives of Practice, Research, Policy and the Profession,” on May 3 at YSN.

The discussion, reading and book signing will be held at 4:30 p.m. in the YSN Lecture Hall, 100 Church Street South. The event is free and open to the public.

The book by Diers, the Annie W. Goodrich Professor Emerita at YSN, is a collection of essays, speeches, and other papers spanning more than four decades. In the collection she addresses the evolution of clinical nursing research, advanced practice nursing, and nursing’s engagement in policy debate.
