Dedication of Connecticut's First High-Efficiency Fuel Cell Power Plant at Yale

Yale University, state and New Haven officials and Fuel Cell Energy, Inc. will dedicate Connecticut's first high-efficiency Direct Fuel Cell power plant at Yale on Wednesday, December 3, at noon.

Yale University, state and New Haven officials and Fuel Cell Energy, Inc. will dedicate Connecticut’s first high-efficiency Direct Fuel Cell power plant at Yale on Wednesday, December 3, at noon.

Fuel cells are environmentally friendly, quiet and efficient electric power generators. Connecticut is home to leading fuel cell manufacturers and this power plant is the first of its kind in the state.

The dedication will be held in the Peabody Auditorium on the third floor of the Yale Peabody Museum at 170 Whitney Avenue.

* Yale President Richard C. Levin
* Connecticut Clean Energy Fund Advisory Committee Chair Arthur H. Diedrick
* Fuel Cell Energy, Inc. CEO Jerry Leitman

Following the dedication ceremony in the auditorium, there will be a ribbon-cutting ceremony and tour of the power plant.
