Yale Dedicates Breast Center November 19

The dedication of the new Yale-New Haven Breast Center, which offers women a comprehensive center on the medical campus for the diagnosis and treatment of benign and malignant breast symptoms, will be held at 3 p.m. today.

The dedication of the new Yale-New Haven Breast Center, which offers women a comprehensive center on the medical campus for the diagnosis and treatment of benign and malignant breast symptoms, will be held at 3 p.m. today.

The Breast Center is a collaboration between Yale-New Haven Hospital and the Yale Cancer Center. It is located in the newly renovated and private space in the lower level of the Yale Physicians Building at 800 Howard Avenue.

The Yale-New Haven Breast Center will offer a full-range of clinical care to women seeking information about breast health. Physicians and staff are trained to provide every patient with extraordinary attention in a supportive environment. Team members will include breast radiologists, surgeons, medical and radiation oncologists, pathologists, nurses, mammography technicians and medical and clinical assistants.

Among those attending the dedication will be Yale School of Medicine Interim Dean Dennis Spencer, M.D., Yale-New Haven Hospital President and CEO Joseph A. Zaccagnino and Don Lannin, M.D., executive director of the Yale-New Haven Breast Center.
