New Center Opens for Yale Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility And Yale Maternal-Fetal Medicine
Yale Obstetrics and Gynecology will open a new Maternal-Fetal Medicine center on Long Wharf July 14, and a new Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility center on August 11.
“Creating our new center on Long Wharf is a direct response to our patients’ needs,” said Charles Lockwood, M.D., chair of the Department of Obstetrics Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences at Yale School of Medicine. “We’ve made one of the Northeast’s leading specialized Ob/Gyn Medical groups even better.”
The treatment centers, which will be located at 150 Sargent Drive, will continue to provide state-of-the-art technology in a more convenient and comfortable atmosphere. The new center now offers free parking, easy access off I-95, increased privacy and support, additional physicians and staff, increased and flexible hours of operation, reduced wait time and more examination and consultation rooms.
“We do more than provide the latest technologies; we invent them,” said Lockwood. “Our team of leading physicians, expert nurses, emotional support specialists and dedicated staff offer an integrated and collaborative approach to infertility and high-risk pregnancies.”
Lockwood said the practices’ close ties within the Yale educational community affords the group the knowledge and ability to thoroughly interpret, understand and implement the best and most appropriate treatments for patients.
